Taking Mad Skills to a New Dimension

being watched? Well, apparantly Lindsay Lohan is because she felt the need to write an
entire song about it to kick off her debut album. Wait a minute, she probably didn't
even write it, so she felt the need to have her producer think of the idea. Hell, maybe
she lip-synched the entire album like her buddy-ol' pal Ashlee Simpson did on Saturday
Night Live a few weeks back. It really would'nt surprise me. The reason I bring this
topic up is because a new trend is starting, and it's not a pretty one. The phrase
"utility player" is taking on an entirely new meaning from the likes of Lindsay Lohan,
Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, etc. First Lindsay Lohan broke onto "the scene" as a ditzy
actress, and now all of a sudden she can sing? How the hell does that work? Lindsay
Lohan by far is one of the worst singers I have ever heard, and the fact that she has her
own album, music video, and record contract blows me away. Granted she's just doing this
to make money with name recognition, but come on. Anyone think she's actually going to
have any tour dates? I guaran-damn-tee that the average age of the audience will be
around 9 or 10, and it will be all girls. I can just see a sea of 10 year old girls
yelling, "I'm sick of being followed ..." She makes me sick.
Think Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have mad skills? Napoleon Dynamite has more skills than both of them combined, at least he says he does. Napoleon, Uncle Rico, Pedro, Kip, and Deb kick off College Downtime's brand new Celebrity Soundboard section with the Napoleon Dynamite soundboard carrying the banner. I've added 30 soundboards to kick off the collection, and there are many, many more on the way. Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Robert Deniro, Michael Jackson, and John Kerry are just a few of the popular ones you'll find. While College Downtime takes absolutely no responsability for any action that results from our Soundboards, we hear that they are great for prank calling your friends in the middle of the night.
College Downtime at the moment is in a new stage of evolution. Throughout the coming days you'll see minor and major changes to the layout and functionality, from the layout and the graphics all the way to simplifying content submission. First off, our Navigation has drastically changed in the upper-left section of your screen as we broke down the long, confusing list down to 5 categories. Don't worry, all the original sections are still there, they've just been dropped into their respective categories. Over the coming days you'll see a revamped movie section, tons of completely new sections, and a much better, refined overall site layout. Soon on the front page you'll see thumbnails to all the latest media, whether it be new flash games, movies, or funny pictures. This way your you can cure your boredom faster, because as college students we're well aware sometimes we only have 5 minutes before our next class. Time is money. We just ask for your patience as we hope to complete the new version of College Downtime as soon as we can. Lastly, we've got over 30 new movie and random ass reviews, not to mention hundreds of new flash games, funny pictures, text files, and oh so much more coming your way very soon, so stay tuned.
