I have an email address. Actually I have got like 4 or 5 active ones, but that's beside the point.
Like most people with an email address I receive a lot of 'funny' emails from colleagues and friends.
I'm sure You know this kind of emails with jokes or with funny images. Or even the big ones, with funny mpeg's and/or things like Flash. Those things combined I like to define as 'FunStuff'.

I also have this web site. It's a hobby of mine to keep improving it and thus making it bigger and better. So one day I had the brilliant (ahum) idea to put the jokes and images I liked most on a special fun page.

All the FunStuff you see on my fun page I received by email in the past. I never 'stole' anything from any other Fun site. (Which doesn't mean you won't find any of the funstuff anywhere else of course).
Slowly but surely the fun page grew and became bigger and bigger.

Since email is my source for FunStuff I soon made it possible to send stuff from this web site again as an email to other people. At first I used a script hosted by a commercial website.
But now I have my own hosting provider. I wrote the ecards application myself (using ASP). The Ecards are really just for your entertainment. I don't use the email addresses that are filled in.

So I guarantee your email address is safe and won't be given to anyone else. I don't intend to earn money with my site anyway. The banner on top should suffice for my hosting costs. But basically this site is really just a hobby gone wild.

I try to keep this site as clean as possible. I don't particular enjoy surfing a site that has a pop upng with each internal link I click. In fact I hate those kind of forced commercials. So I won't use them myself.

The only banners you will find are the banners on top and of toplist sites that link to my fun pages. All these toplist sites require hits from my site to have my own site listed on them. If nobody clicks on them, nobody will find my site. So that's a bit of a dilemma. Many webmasters use forced pop ups to get votes on these kind of lists. I decided not to do that, but that also means these fun pages never get ranked high on any of the lists unfortunately.

So should you care, please go to one of the linked lists every now and then by clicking on one of the links. I would appreciate it. I could also ask you to click on the commercial banners on top and buy stuff so I would earn money... but I won't ;-)

I don't object to visitors saving pictures on this site on their hard disk at all. I again am not trying to make money, and all the material was sent to me anyway. So I didn't create it or own it.

But there's one thing I unfortunately had to take measures against. Deep linking or leaching as it is also called means making a link to one of the pictures on my site from another site, so it looks like the picture is part of that other site.

It happened at one point in time so much I was forced to take action. To explain why I don't like this leaching thing, it's all about internet traffic. Every time a page, an image or a movie is displayed on your screen it causes traffic from my host. And this internet traffic is something I have to pay for out of my own pocket.

People are free to enjoy the funnystuff when they are on my site. I enjoy visitors enjoying those funny things. But I don't approve to people using the things on my server for their own site. They may download a picture and store it on their own server space, no problem at all.

Actually particulary forums where leaching so many pictures of this site I implemented a reasonbly well working form of protection. People copying the links to pictures will now see this image.

I'm only 1 guy with a limited amount of time to spend on maintaining and updating this site. But I try to update at least once a week. It also depends on the amount of new stuff I have ready to put online. Some weeks I get a pile of new stuff, other times I barely have a few new ones.
