ABOUT THE MOVIE
At this year's MARCON science fiction convention in Columbus, Ohio, 7M Pictures joined forces with MagicHouse Productions and TG2WAC to make a movie with the kids attending the conventions. "The Curse of Monster X" was written on Friday night at the convention with the help of the kids as well as the convention's Godzilla Expert Guest of Honor J.D. Lees.
The next morning, at 10:00 a.m., the kids gathered at the convention to build props, fit into wardrobe and finish the sets. Picture was up within an hour, and the film companies shot on two different sets to complete principal photography. Monster X (whom we lovingly refer to as Raki) came courtesy of TG2WAC, and MagicHouse Productions orchestrated the building of sets and the assembling of props.
After principal photography, the three film companies worked on editing the movie all night long, including adding music, sound effects and optical effects. At 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, "The Curse of Monster X" was presented to the Marcon Kids and their parents.
