WEP Key

Hmm, does anyone know how i can find out what my WEP key is. I know what it is, just not how to get to it . And neither me or my mom remeber setting one up. Any ideas

What is the WEP key being used for ? A wireless router, wireless DSL, or something else?

If it is a router or wireless DSL, just plug into it with the ethernet card and reset the router/DSL modem (you'll have to setup everything on the router/DSL modem again)

He's got the new Nintendo DS and is attempting the Wifi setup for it. That's all I know. We'll have to wait for more info when he returns.

take a voltage meter, shove the negative up your ass and stab the positive in your eye Set it to test ohms, doesnt matter what level

you can find out by calling ur cable company- funny how they come in, set the wireless modem up, leave and don't give you a clue of what that key is or any passwords for that matter

, that's what happened to me, i spent about a friggin hour on the phone trying to get it from them.

cable company, not sure they would help much, phone company mayb... but i found my wep key.. entered and now im at a new problem.. o well screw it.

And I'm assuming this problem you encountered is the same as I have for my PSP's wifi function. My home wireless uses I think 64 character encryption and my fricken PSP uses 28. So I can't do the wifi at home.

MIDGET MOLESTING, im not a pedofile(sp?), and it just says it cant connect or sumtin, donno what it is.. .. i thought firewall didnt work tho

Its in your wireless router/modem. Probably isn't "broadcasting" your wireless connection and its locked. I need to research this more myself for my PSP, but your wireless modem is hopefully setup where not anybody can just pull up infront of your house and start snagging your internet connection. And that being said if it is, you need to basically give permission to allow your NS to connect to the Wifi.

I know what I need to do, I just can't personally figure out HOW to do it for myself on my PSP and home wireless.
